Private. Halal. Free.
NerdyConnect is for Nigerian Muslims — and those open to a Nigerian Muslim spouse — who want to search for a spouse seriously, privately, and without pressure. Here is exactly how it works.
Who this is for
NerdyConnect is currently open to Nigerians and those who are open to a Nigerian Muslim spouse. All members must be Muslim. The platform is designed for serious marriage seekers — not casual connections. If you are looking for a halal path to marriage, you are in the right place.
How it works — 3 steps
Create a profile
Fill in your background, values, and what you are looking for. Upload a valid ID — this is reviewed only by admins and is never shown to other members. Your email address stays private throughout.
Browse and send interest
Every profile is reviewed and approved by our admin team before anyone can interact. Photos are hidden by default — you can request to see someone's photos once you are matched, and they can approve or decline.
Mutual match opens a private chat
When both sides accept each other’s interest, a private chat is unlocked. From there, you can speak properly — with a wali present if needed. NerdyConnect is the starting point, not the whole journey.
How privacy works
- —Your display name is a private ID (e.g. A7, F23) — never your real name.
- —Your photos are hidden from all members unless you approve a specific photo request.
- —Your email, phone number, and contact details are never shown to other members.
- —Other members cannot see who viewed their profile — only that someone viewed it.
- —Your ID document is stored securely and reviewed only by the admin team.
What makes this halal and respectful
- —There is no free messaging. A private chat only opens after a mutual match — both sides must have accepted each other’s interest.
- —All profiles are reviewed and approved by a human admin before the member can interact with anyone.
- —There is a 3-chat limit per member to keep interactions intentional and purposeful.
- —The platform is designed for the early stages of finding a spouse, not for ongoing social contact.
- —Members are expected to involve a wali when appropriate as the process moves forward.
What happens after a mutual match
When both members accept each other’s interest, a private chat is unlocked. You can use this to have an initial conversation — about deen, values, family expectations, and compatibility. If things progress, the next steps happen outside the platform, with family involvement as appropriate. NerdyConnect is a starting point, not a full relationship platform.
Detailed guide — jump to section
1. Getting Started
Register an Account
Click Join Free on the homepage. Enter your email address and choose a secure password. Your email address is never shown to other members — it is used only for login and important notifications.
Verify Your Email
After registering, a verification link is sent to your inbox. Click the link to confirm your email address. You must verify your email before you can complete your profile. If you do not see the email, check your spam/junk folder.
Complete Your Profile
Once your email is verified, you will be prompted to fill in your profile. This step is required before your account can be reviewed for approval. A complete and honest profile greatly improves your experience on the platform.
Upload a Valid ID
As part of profile setup, you must upload a valid means of identification (e.g. national ID card, passport, or driver's licence). This is used by our admin team solely to verify your identity — it is never shown to other members. Your ID document is stored securely and is only accessible to administrators.
Wait for Admin Approval
After you submit your profile, our admin team reviews it to ensure it meets our community standards. You will receive an email when your account is approved. This process typically takes 24–48 hours. Until approved, you can view and edit your own profile but cannot browse or interact with other members.
2. Your Profile
Display Name
Your display name is the name other members see — but never in full. The platform automatically replaces it with an anonymous ID (your first initial + a unique number, e.g. E42) when shown to others. This protects your real identity until you choose to share it privately.
About Me & What I Am Looking For
These two sections require a minimum of 100 words each. Take your time writing them honestly — this is the main way other members learn who you are and whether you may be compatible. Mention your values, lifestyle, deen, and what you are genuinely looking for in a spouse.
Profile Photos
You can upload up to 5 photos. Photos are hidden by default — other members cannot see them unless you grant them access (see Photo Requests). Your first photo becomes your primary photo. All photos are reviewed by admin before being visible.
Personal Details
Fill in your age, country, state, tribe, marital status, children, educational background, employment, body details, and religious practice. The more detail you provide, the better the system can help compatible members find you.
Partner Preferences
Specify your preferred age range and whether you are open to members from other tribes, divorcees, reverts, or those with children. These preferences help you find and be found by compatible profiles.
Editing Your Profile
You can update your profile at any time by going to Edit Profile in the navigation menu or your account dropdown. Changes are saved immediately. Re-uploading photos will add to your existing set (up to the 5-photo limit).
3. Privacy & Anonymity
Anonymous Display IDs
Your real name is never shown to other members. Instead, everyone is identified by an anonymous ID: your first initial followed by your unique member number (e.g. A7, F23). This applies everywhere — browse, interests, notifications, and chat. Only you and the admin team can see your real name.
Hidden Photos
Your photos are private by default. No member can view your photos until you explicitly approve their photo request. This means you are always in control of who sees your appearance. You can approve or deny each request individually.
Contact Information
Your email address, phone number, and any other personal contact details are never shared with other members through the platform. If you choose to share personal details, do so only through private chat and only after you are comfortable doing so — and only with your wali's guidance if applicable.
Profile Views
When another approved member views your profile, you receive a notification with their anonymous identifier (same format as browse), e.g. "F120 viewed your profile." This repeats at most once every 24 hours per viewer to avoid repeated notifications.
ID Documents
Your uploaded identification document is stored in a secure, private location on the server. It is accessible only to admin staff for identity verification purposes and is never displayed to other members.
4. Browsing Profiles
How to Browse
Go to Browse in the top navigation. You will see a grid of approved member profiles of the opposite gender. Each card shows the member's anonymous ID, age, country, tribe, and other key details. Photos are shown only if you have been granted photo access.
Who You Can See
Browse shows only fully approved, active members. Your own profile does not appear in browse. Members who have been suspended or banned are not shown. Only members of the opposite gender are displayed.
Viewing a Profile
Click any profile card to view full details. You can see the member's description, lifestyle details, and partner preferences. Their photos remain hidden unless you have an approved photo request. Viewing someone's profile notifies them once per 24 hours.
Taking Action from a Profile
From a profile page you can: Send Interest (if you have not already matched), Request Photo Access (only available once you are matched with that person), or Start Chat (matched members only). These actions appear as buttons on the left panel of the profile page and change based on your current relationship with that member.
Hiding Yourself from a Profile
When viewing another member's profile, you will see a Hide Myself from This Profile button. Clicking it means you will no longer appear in that member's browse results — they cannot discover your profile through browsing. This is entirely private; the other member is never notified. You can reverse this at any time by returning to their profile and clicking Make Myself Visible Again. By default, all approved members can see your profile in browse.
5. Discover
What is Discover?
Discover is a curated matchmaking feature that gives you 3 highly compatible matches every month. Unlike Browse, which shows all active members, Discover uses an advanced scoring algorithm to find the people you are most likely to connect with based on your profile, values, and deen.
How It Works
On the first day of every month, the system generates a fresh batch of 3 suggestions for you. These profiles are selected through a multi-step process:
- Filter: Candidates are filtered by gender, age preferences, and activity status.
- Genotype Safety: Profiles are hard-filtered for healthcare compatibility (see below).
- Scoring: Each remaining candidate is scored out of 100 based on several factors.
- Selection: The top 3 highest-scoring candidates are presented to you.
The Scoring Model (Max 100%)
The match percentage you see on Discover cards is calculated across five key categories:
- 📍 Location (30 pts): Priority is given to members in your state or country, especially if both parties are willing to relocate.
- 🤝 Mutual Fit (25 pts): We check if you fit their criteria as much as they fit yours (mutual age range and tribal compatibility).
- 🕌 Religious Practice (15 pts): Matching religious beliefs and prayer frequency.
- 🎂 Age Proximity (10 pts): Closer age gaps receive higher points.
- 📝 Profile & Values (20 pts): Compatibility in marriage timelines, lifecycle stages (divorcee/children), and behavioral text analysis of your "About Me" sections.
Healthcare & Genotype Safety
To ensure the health and well-being of future families, the platform includes a strict genotype safety filter. If both parties carry sickle-cell traits (e.g., SS, AS, SC, AC), the system will automatically exclude them from your suggestions to prevent high-risk matches. At least one person in the pair must usually be AA for a match to be suggested.
Interactive Learning
You can Like, Skip, or View any suggested profile. Your actions help the system learn what you prefer, improving the quality of your suggestions over time. Once you "Skip" a profile, it will not be suggested to you again in future months.
6. Interests
Sending an Interest
When you find a profile you are interested in, click Send Interest on their profile page. A confirmation popup will appear asking you to confirm that you have reviewed the profile carefully before proceeding. This is an important step — take the time to read the person's full profile, their About Me, and their preferences before confirming. Once confirmed, the interest is sent and the other member is notified. You can only send one interest to the same person. The other member will then decide to accept or decline.
Receiving an Interest
When someone sends you an interest, you will see it in your Interests page (accessible from the top navigation) and receive a notification. You can then choose to Accept or Decline the interest. If you accept, you both become matched and can open a chat. If you decline, the sender is not notified — the interest simply remains unanswered.
Viewing Sent & Received Interests
The Interests page has two tabs: Received (interests others have sent you) and Sent (interests you have sent to others). Each entry shows the anonymous ID of the other member with a link to their profile and the current status (pending or accepted).
Interest Status
7. Photo Requests
Why Photos Are Hidden
To maintain modesty and protect privacy, all profile photos are hidden from other members by default. No one can see your photos unless you explicitly approve their request. This ensures you are always in full control of who sees your appearance.
Requesting Photo Access
You must be matched with a member before you can request to see their photos. Once matched, visit their profile and click Request to See Photo. The button appears only when you do not yet have access. The member will be notified of your request by notification and email. You can only have one active request per member at a time — the button changes to Photo Request Pending… while waiting for a response.
Approving or Declining a Request
When you receive a photo request, go to Photo Requests (linked from your dashboard or the Matches page). You will see all pending requests with the requester's anonymous ID and a link to their profile. Click Approve to grant them access to your photos, or Decline to refuse. The requester is notified and sent an email when their request is approved.
Managing Your Sent Requests
You can review all photo requests you have sent by going to Matches → Photo Requests (the button at the top of your Matches page) or navigating directly to /photo/my-requests. Each request shows the status: Pending, Approved, Declined, or Cancelled. If a request is still pending, you can cancel it by clicking Cancel on that card.
After Approval
Once your request is approved, you can view that member's photos whenever you visit their profile. Access remains active for as long as the match is active. If the match ends, photo access is also removed.
8. Matches
What Is a Match?
A match is created when one member sends an interest and the other member accepts it. Once matched, both members unlock the ability to open a private chat with each other. A match represents mutual interest and is the gateway to meaningful conversation on the platform.
Viewing Your Matches
Go to Matches in the bottom navigation to see all your current matches. Each match card shows the other member's anonymous ID, their profile link, and when the match was made. From this page you can also access Photo Requests — the button in the top-right links to all photo requests you have sent.
What Happens After Matching
After matching, three new actions unlock on the other member's profile: Start Chat opens a private conversation, Request to See Photo lets you ask to view their photos (if you do not already have access), and Unmatch ends the connection. The chat is moderated to ensure conversations remain respectful and within Islamic guidelines. See the Chat section for full details.
Ending a Match (Unmatch)
If you decide to end a match, go to your Matches page and click Unmatch on the relevant card. A reason is required before the match can be ended — please provide a brief, honest explanation. The other member will be notified that the connection has ended, but your reason is kept private and is only visible to the admin team. Unmatching closes the chat and removes both members from each other's matches list. This action cannot be undone.
9. Chat
Who You Can Chat With
You can only open a chat with members you are matched with (i.e. you sent or received an interest and it was accepted). You cannot chat with members you have not yet matched with.
The 3-Chat Limit
To encourage focused, serious conversations, each member may have a maximum of 3 active chats at any one time. This limit exists to prevent shallow or non-committal engagement. If you already have 3 active chats, you must close one before opening a new one.
Opening a Chat
Visit the profile of a member you are matched with and click Open Chat. Alternatively, go to the Chat section in the navigation to see all your active conversations. The conversation thread updates in real time as you send and receive messages.
Closing a Chat
You can close a chat at any time from within the conversation. Closing a chat frees up one of your 3 chat slots. A closed chat cannot be reopened — if you wish to communicate again, you would need to open a new chat (subject to your remaining chat slots).
Message Tools
Every message you send comes with a set of tools to help you communicate more clearly and naturally.
Replying to a Message (Threads)
You can reply directly to any specific message in the conversation. Hover over (or tap on mobile) the message you want to respond to, then tap the ⋮ menu and choose Reply. A green quote strip will appear above the input box showing the message you are replying to. Type your response and send — your reply will appear with the original message quoted above it, making it easy to follow the thread of conversation. Tap the × on the quote strip to cancel the reply.
Editing a Sent Message
Made a typo? You can edit a message within 15 minutes of sending it. Hover over (or tap on mobile) your own message, open the ⋮ menu, and choose Edit. The message text will become editable in-place. Make your corrections, then press Save (or Enter). Edited messages show a small · edited note so the other person is aware a change was made. After the 15-minute window the edit option is no longer available.
Deleting a Message
You can delete any of your own messages at any time. Open the ⋮ menu on your message and choose Delete. A confirmation prompt will appear — confirm to remove it. The message is replaced with "This message was deleted" in the conversation. Deleting a message cannot be undone, but our admin team can still see a record of all messages for moderation purposes.
Emoji Picker
Tap the 😊 smiley button to the left of the message input box to open the emoji picker. Select any emoji to insert it at your cursor position. You can combine emojis with text in the same message. Tap the smiley button again (or click anywhere outside the picker) to close it.
Question Suggestions — /question
Not sure what to ask next? Type /question in the message box and a panel of suggested conversation questions will appear instantly — without sending anything to your match. Each suggestion is a complete, ready-to-send question written specifically for a serious halal matrimonial conversation. There are over 70 questions in the library, spread across 10 topic areas, and the system tracks which ones you have already seen so you always get something fresh on refresh.
You decide whether to send. Click a question to copy it into your message box, then read it over, edit if you wish, and send when you are ready. Nothing goes to your match until you press send yourself.
How to use it
- 1.Type /question alone for a balanced mix from all topics.
- 2.Add a topic word to focus — e.g. /question deen, /question family, /question finances.
- 3.Click any suggestion to insert it, or use ↑ / ↓ to navigate and Enter to select.
- 4.Hit ↻ Refresh to load a new set. Hit Topic to switch category. Press Esc to close.
Stage-aware suggestions. The questions that appear adapt to where you are in the match journey. In early conversations you will see lighter, open compatibility questions. As your match progresses into later stages — photo exchange, voice call, nikkah intent — the library gradually introduces more practical and serious questions about finances, family roles, conflict, and readiness for marriage.

Moderation
All conversations are monitored by our admin team to ensure they remain respectful, halal, and within Islamic etiquette. Messages that contain inappropriate content, harassment, or anything contrary to Islamic values may result in your account being suspended or banned. See Member Rules for more.
Video & Audio Calls
Once you have an active chat with a match, you can speak with them face-to-face or voice-only directly within the platform — no external app required.
Who Can Make Calls
Calls are available only inside an active chat session. Both you and your match must have the chat feature enabled. If a chat session has been closed, the call buttons will not appear. Calls cannot be made with members you are not already chatting with.
Starting a Video Call
Open a conversation with your match. In the top-right corner of the chat header, tap the camera icon. A secure video room is created instantly. Your match receives an incoming call notification within their chat window. Your camera and microphone will be requested by the browser — you must allow both for the call to work.
Starting an Audio-Only Call
Tap the phone icon to start a voice-only call. Your camera will not be used — only your microphone. This is a good option if you or your match prefer not to be on camera, or if you have a slow internet connection.
Receiving an Incoming Call
When your match starts a call, a green notification banner appears at the top of your chat conversation. Tap Join to connect or Dismiss to decline. You must have the chat window open to receive the notification — there is no push notification to your phone's home screen.
During a Call
The call opens in a full-screen overlay powered by Jitsi Meet, a secure open-source video platform. You can mute/unmute, turn your camera on or off, switch cameras on mobile, and use in-call chat. Call quality depends on your internet connection.
Ending a Call
Tap the red End Call button in the top-right of the call screen. This ends the call for both participants simultaneously. Either person can end the call at any time. Once ended, you are returned to the chat conversation.
Camera & Microphone Permissions
The first time you start or join a call, your browser will ask for permission to access your camera and microphone. You must allow these for the call to work.
Android (Chrome): Tap the padlock in the address bar → Site settings → Allow Camera & Microphone.
iPhone (Safari): Settings app → Safari → Camera and Microphone → Allow.
Desktop Chrome: Click the camera icon in the address bar → Allow → Reload the page.
Using Calls on Mobile
Calls work directly in your mobile browser — no app download required. Use Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone for best results. Connect to Wi-Fi if possible, and keep earphones in to improve audio quality and reduce echo.
Privacy & Call Conduct
Calls are subject to the same Islamic etiquette standards as text messages. Ensure a mahram is present during video calls if required by your practice. Do not record or screenshot calls without consent — this is grounds for a permanent ban. Call audio/video is not recorded by the platform, but reported misconduct will be investigated.
10. Notifications
The Notification Bell
The bell icon in the top navigation shows a red badge when you have unread notifications. Clicking it takes you to your dashboard where your recent notifications are listed. The badge shows the exact count (up to 9, then "9+").
Types of Notifications
Marking Notifications as Read
Notifications are automatically marked as read when you visit your dashboard. Unread notifications appear with a green highlight and a small dot indicator.
Email Notifications
In addition to in-app notifications, you will also receive email notifications for key events such as profile views and account approval. Check your inbox (and spam folder) regularly to stay up to date.
11. Account Settings
Accessing Account Settings
Click your avatar/initial in the top-right corner and select Account Settings from the dropdown menu. You can also navigate directly to /account.
Changing Your Password
In Account Settings, enter your current password and your new password (twice to confirm). Use a strong password of at least 8 characters that includes a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Changing Your Email Address
You can update your email address in Account Settings. After submitting a new email, a verification link will be sent to the new address. Your email will not change until you click that verification link. You will continue to log in with your old email in the meantime.
Editing Your Profile vs Account Settings
Edit Profile is for your public-facing information (name, age, about me, photos, etc.). Account Settings is for your private login credentials (email and password). Keep both up to date.
Requesting Account Deletion
If you wish to have your account permanently deleted, go to Account Settings and submit a deletion request. This does not delete your account immediately — the request is reviewed by the admin team, who will process it and confirm via email. Once approved, your account and all associated data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
12. Member Rules
NerdyConnect is built on Islamic values. Every member is expected to engage with sincerity, respect, and modesty. Please read and follow these rules at all times.
Be Honest
Provide accurate information in your profile. Misrepresentation — including false photos, incorrect age, undisclosed marital history, or false religious claims — is a serious violation and will result in account removal. Upload a genuine photo of yourself and a valid ID. Trust is the foundation of this platform.
Maintain Islamic Etiquette (Adab)
All communication must be respectful, modest, and purposeful. Inappropriate language, flirting beyond what is halal, or behaviour that contradicts Islamic values is prohibited. Remember that every conversation may be reviewed by admin. Conduct yourself as you would in front of your family and your Lord.
Do Not Share External Contact Details Prematurely
Do not share phone numbers, social media handles, or external messaging app details in early conversations. The platform is designed to facilitate a proper, structured getting-to-know-you process. Involving a wali (guardian) at the appropriate stage is encouraged.
No Harassment or Repeated Unsolicited Contact
If someone declines your interest or does not respond to your messages, respect their decision. Persistent or unwanted contact is harassment and will result in immediate suspension. Every member has the right to disengage without explanation.
No Inappropriate Photos
Photos must be appropriate and modest. Do not upload photos that are sexually suggestive, immodest, or that feature third parties without their consent. Profile photos and all uploaded images are reviewed by admin. Violation results in photo removal and possible account suspension.
Account Suspension & Banning
Violations of these guidelines may result in your account being suspended (temporarily restricted) or banned (permanently removed). The admin team has full discretion in enforcing these rules. If you believe your account has been actioned in error, contact us through the platform.
A Reminder
"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy." — Quran 30:21. May Allah bless every member with a righteous and loving spouse. Ameen.
13. Trust & Verification
The Trust Badge System
To build a safe and high-intent community, we use a multi-signal verification system. When you visit a profile, you may see specific trust badges. These indicate that our admin team has verified specific aspects of that member's identity and background.
Types of Verification
- 🆔 Identity: Member has provided a valid government-issued ID.
- 📱 Phone: Their contact number has been verified as active.
- 💼 Employment: Proof of income or employment has been reviewed.
- 🧔 Wali: The member has provided contact details for their guardian/wali.
- 👨👩👧 Family: General family background check completed.
- ⏳ Timeline: Sincerity regarding their marriage timeline (e.g., 6 months) confirmed.
14. Marriage Progression
Intentional Beginnings (Chat Gate)
When you match with someone, the chat room is initially locked. Before speaking, both parties must select and answer 3 Intentional Questions from our library (Deen, Lifestyle, Family, etc.). This ensures that even before the first "Salam," you both have a foundation of shared values and understanding.
The Progression Stages
Relationship growth on NerdyConnect is structured through formal stages:
- Connected: Initial match made.
- Photo Exchange: Formal request and approval to see photos.
- Voice Call: Moving to verbal communication within the platform.
- Family Intro: Requesting to involve family or guardians.
- Nikkah Intent: Final stage before moving the process offline.
Proposing a Stage
You can formally propose moving to the next stage by using the Stage Menu in the chat header. The other member will receive a proposal notification. A stage only updates when both parties agree, ensuring the process moves at a pace comfortable for everyone.
13. Concierge Service
PREMIUMWhat is Concierge?
NerdyConnect Concierge is a premium, human-assisted matchmaking service. Instead of searching on your own, a dedicated concierge works with you personally — learning your goals, refining your approach, and finding people on your behalf. It is designed for serious seekers who want more structure, professional guidance, and a higher-touch experience than self-serve browsing allows. There are three service types, described below.
Communication & Interactive Screening
We ensure you never miss an update. You will receive automated email notifications at every critical step—from application updates to new shortlisted candidates and guidance responses. In the 'Done For You' tier, our staff performs interactive candidate screening on your behalf by directly opening chat sessions with potential matches to introduce you.
Done With You
Your concierge works alongside you. They review your profile together with you, suggest improvements to your bio and photos, and then hand-pick up to 5 candidates who genuinely fit what you are looking for. Each shortlisted match comes with a personalised reason explaining why your concierge thinks this person is worth your attention. You review the shortlist, decide who you want to reach out to, and take it from there.
Done For You
Everything in Done With You, plus your concierge reaches out to shortlisted candidates on your behalf. Important: every candidate is always informed upfront that they are being contacted by a NerdyConnect concierge acting on behalf of a client — full disclosure is a strict requirement. Your concierge tracks each outreach conversation, reports back on responses, and advises you on next steps. This option is for members who want the process managed end-to-end with minimal personal effort.
Guidance & Coaching
You have an active concierge case and you can submit questions at any time — about how a conversation is going, whether a profile is a good fit, how to approach a sensitive topic, or what to do next. You can also optionally share a specific chat session with your concierge for context (your explicit consent is required each time and is audit-logged). Your concierge reads the conversation and gives you tailored, private advice. They never communicate with the other person on your behalf in this tier.
The "Ask Concierge" Button in Chat
If you have an active Concierge case, a gold Ask Concierge button appears in the header of every chat conversation. Tapping it takes you to the Guidance page with that chat session pre-selected, making it easy to share context and ask for advice without leaving the conversation flow.
How to Apply
Go to Concierge in the navigation menu and click Apply for Concierge. Select your service type, complete a short intake form covering your background, goals, and preferences, and submit your application. An admin will review it — usually within 48 hours — and reach out to confirm payment and assign you a concierge. Your case becomes active once the admin approves your application.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Concierge is built around strict privacy rules. Your concierge's internal case notes are never shown to you or to other members — they are internal working documents only. Your chat messages are only accessible to concierge staff if you explicitly request guidance on that conversation and grant access at that moment; each access is logged. Any candidate contacted during outreach screening is always told they are speaking with a concierge, never given your identity unless you choose to proceed with that person.
Common questions
Is NerdyConnect free?
Yes — the core platform is completely free. Browsing, interests, matching, chat, and Discover are all free with no subscription fees or hidden charges. The only paid option is the Concierge service, which is an optional premium add-on for members who want hands-on human assistance.
What is Concierge and who is it for?
Concierge is a premium, human-assisted matchmaking service where a dedicated NerdyConnect team member works with you personally. There are three tiers: Done With You (profile refinement + curated shortlist), Done For You (full outreach and screening on your behalf), and Guidance & Coaching (on-demand advice for your active conversations). It is designed for serious seekers who want structured support beyond self-serve browsing. See the full Concierge section for details on how to apply.
Who can join?
NerdyConnect is currently open to Nigerian Muslims and those who are open to a Nigerian Muslim spouse. All members must be Muslim and serious about marriage.

Photos are not required to create a profile. If you upload a photo, it is hidden from other members by default. You choose who can see it by approving photo requests individually.
How are matches suggested?
The Discover feature curates up to 3 profiles for you each month, scored on location compatibility, mutual fit, religion, age, and profile completeness. You can also browse profiles independently at any time.
Can I hide my profile?
Yes. You can hide your profile at any time from Account Settings. While hidden, you will not appear in browse results or Discover.
What should I write in my bio?
Write clearly and honestly. Describe your background, your deen, what you are looking for in a spouse, and any practical considerations — location, timeline, family expectations. Avoid vague statements. Profiles that are specific and sincere attract more serious responses.
